We’re proud to have created a truly exquisite afternoon tea in Windsor to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Served in our quintessentially English lounge, our menu applauds one of our country’s best traditions and puts our Monarch centre stage.

Delicious afternoon tea

Featuring an array of edible treats, our afternoon tea menu has been masterminded by our Executive Head Chef Suraj Lokhande to be a feast for the eyes as well as a triumph for the tastebuds.

Savoury Starters

Guests can enjoy all the traditional elements of a quintessentially English afternoon tea, including time-honoured favourites such as egg mayonnaise and cress sandwiches, and the Severn & Wye smoked salmon pinwheel with caviar on rye bread.

Sumptuous Sweets

Once the savoury course has been devoured, diners can indulge in fruit or plain scones with clotted cream and British berry jam followed by our delicious selection of patisserie, from the Royal cupcake and Union Jack Macaroon sandwich to a lemon posset and a high tea chocolate cup.

Refreshing British Blends

We are proud to serve a classic selection of traditional tea blends, fruit and herb infusions and green teas from Darvilles of Windsor. Darvilles have held the Royal Warrant for the last 70 years and continue to supply teas to Windsor Castle.

Add Fabulous Fizz

Want to go the extra mile? Upgrade your afternoon tea to enjoy a glass of locally-produced Windsor Great Park sparkling wine, prosecco or champagne, or opt for a crisp peach and hibiscus gin and tonic.

Children’s Tea

At The Castle Hotel Windsor, the whole family is invited to tea. Treat little ones to a range of finger sandwiches and fruit scones with cream and jam, followed by chocolate brownies, fruit kebabs and an indulgent hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. From just £17.50 per child, this is a tradition they are sure to fall in love with.
