The Castle Hotel is rooted in the history of Windsor and is a treasured landmark that holds a very special place in the history of the Royal borough.
The Castle Hotel Redefined
For almost 500 years, the Castle Hotel has welcomed visitors from around the globe. Starting life as the Mermaid Inn in 1528, we offered refuge to travellers passing through or soaking up our royal heritage. We’ve hosted royalty, witnessed historic milestone events, been a space where innovation and creativity sparked and once provided horses and carriages to the royal household. We’re a huge part of Windsor’s history and investing over £9.5Million to start our next fascinating chapter. Follow our journey.

And, through our design, our team and our redefined guest journey, we'll celebrate Windsor’s heritage and play our part in continuing its beautiful legacy. But let’s not spoil the reveal, take a peek at what’s to come here.
