Where is Castle Hotel Windsor located?

You’ll find us right in the heart of Windsor, directly opposite Windsor Castle. When you stay with us, you’re perfectly placed to explore the town, enjoy the shops and restaurants, and take in the royal surroundings just moments from our front door.

How close is the hotel to Windsor Castle?

We’re just a short two minute walk from the entrance to Windsor Castle, making it incredibly easy for you to visit during your stay.

What are the check in and check out times at the Castle Hotel Windsor?

Check-in at the Castle Hotel Windsor is from 3.00 pm and check-out is at 11.00 am. If you arrive early or would like a little more time before you leave, just speak to our team, and we will always do our best to help.

Yes, the Castle Hotel Windsor is a dog-friendly hotel in Windsor. We have a selection of dog-friendly rooms, which we will allocate at the time of booking. There is a charge of £30 per dog, per night.

Penningtons, our brand-new British brasserie and bar, will be opening in August. Until then, we are offering a selection of light bites and drinks in our events space.

Do you serve afternoon tea at the Castle Hotel Windsor?

Afternoon tea is a special occasion at the hotel and one of our most loved experiences. It will be returning when our brand-new restaurant, Penningtons British Brasserie and Bar, opens in August.

What time is the restaurant open at the Castle Hotel Windsor?

Our brand-new restaurant, Penningtons British Brasserie and Bar, will be opening in August. It will be serving breakfast through to dinner, with lunch and afternoon tea available in between, as well as drinks and snacks throughout the day. We’ll confirm opening hours closer to the launch date.

Does Castle Hotel Windsor offer room service?

Yes, room service is available if you’d prefer to dine in the comfort of your room. Our room service menu can be viewed on your in-room TV, or our team will be happy to assist you with placing an order.

Does the Castle Hotel Windsor have a ballroom?

Yes, we are proud to offer the largest ballroom in central Windsor. It provides a beautiful setting for weddings, celebrations and larger events in Windsor.

Is the Castle Hotel Windsor a good place to stay for an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle?

Absolutely. With Windsor Castle just moments away, you could not be better placed for your special day. After your ceremony, you can return to the hotel to relax and celebrate together.

Is parking available at the Castle Hotel Windsor?

Yes, the Castle Hotel Windsor offers on-site parking behind the hotel, accessible via Bachelors Acre (SL4 1ER). Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cost £30 per 24 hours. We also have two EV charging points. During redevelopment, spaces may be limited, and nearby parking is available at Victoria Street Car Park. Our team will be happy to help with your bags on arrival.

Are electric vehicle charging points available at the Castle Hotel Windsor?

During refurbishment, our electrical charging points are not available but normally we do have EV charging points available for guests. As these are limited, we recommend letting us know in advance so we can help you plan your arrival.

What is there for children to do close to the Castle Hotel Windsor

There is plenty for younger guests to enjoy, including LEGOLAND Windsor, Thorpe Park, Windsor Great Park and boat trips along the River Thames.

How close is Ascot Racecourse to the Castle Hotel in Windsor?

Ascot Racecourse is around a 15-minute drive from the hotel, making it a convenient place to stay if you are attending an event.
