Served daily from midday until 5:00pm, we are well known in town for one of the best afternoon teas in Windsor. Treat yourself to freshly baked scones with Cornish clotted cream and British berry jam, sumptuous sandwiches and an array of delicious, delicate patisserie.
The Castle Hotel Windsor’s afternoon tea pairs perfectly with blends from Darvilles of Windsor – or a glass of bubbles. Or why not add one of our speciality cocktails?
In celebration of Earth Day on 22nd April, our head chef Suraj Lokhande has curated a delicious sustainable dish incorporating seasonal and locally sourced produce. Available throughout April, do not miss the chance to tuck into a mouth-watering roasted cauliflower steak using British-grown cauliflowers with a flavoursome chimichurri sauce and bean cassoulet.

Every Sunday, Leaf’s signature roasts of British beef, half a roast chicken and roast pork belly with crackling take centre stage. Come together with family and friends and enjoy our mouth-watering traditional Sunday lunch. And even better you will get four hours free parking with us so there is time to take a wander around Windsor too. Simply show your receipt at reception before leaving.

Our menus are crammed full of quality ingredients produced by suppliers based locally to Royal Windsor and Berkshire. This makes a significant reduction to our carbon footprint and contributes back into our local community and regional economy. It also means our dishes are bursting with quality flavours which adds to the overall dining experience.
Take for example Stanlake wines, based in the stunning Stanlake Park in Berkshire. Established in 1979, Stanklake Park is one of Berkshire’s largest wine producers.
Darvilles of Windsor tea is served for breakfast and for afternoon tea. Holding several royal warrants, Darvilles of Windsor has been producing tea since 1860 and we are proud to serve their tea at The Castle Hotel.
